National Telecommunications Operator,Globacom has introduced Glo Blackberry points programme,another innovation that rewards its subscribers with great gifts. The firm said it came up with the project to appreciate the loyalty of its existing subscribers on its prepaid Blackberry services and encourage new users. Glo listed the gift items are free airtime,Glo 3G modems, iPods, Blackberry devices, iPads and the latest LED TV sets. It said, '' In the loyalty reward package for subscribers on the prepaid Blackberry platform,users stand the chance of winning exciting prizes by consistently recharging their lines to earn points.
The subscribers earn a point for every Naira spent,meaning that a subscriber who recharges with N100 or N3000 for instance earns 100 points or 3000 points respectively. There will be monthly benefits,quarterly benefits and a yearly draw which delivers various mouth-watering benefits to the subscribers. The firm also said, '' The more the subscribers spend on recharge,the more points they earn to enable them win monthly and quarterly benefits and qualify for a yearly draw to win fantastic prizes ranging from guaranteed three months free subscription, N12000 free airtime, Glo 3G modems,500 pieces of iPods,5 iPads, 10 pieces of Blackberry bold 2, 10 pieces of Blackberry Gemini devices and 5 3-D TV sets.
According to the statement,any subscriber having between 2001 points and 5000 points monthly will have N75 free talktime automatically added to his account while between 5001 points and 10000 points will win N150 worth of free talktime.
