Twitter for android available with more features

Twitter has released new update for its Android app that brings lots of interesting new features. Features of the New Twitter for Android App that includes tabbed search results view, SSL for network request, and number of other features. The new update is available for smartphones running Android 2.1 or
higher would be able to use this update. Visit http://market.android.com to download the new Twitter for Android. With every update, Twitter for Android App keeps
getting better with more features which ideally should have been there by second
update.
List of new features:
- Add and remove saved searches from universal search suggestions
- SSL used for network requests
- Font size setting
- Tapping on a map in detail view searches
nearby Tweets
- Launch links directly from a message
- Ability to delete messages
- Added Tweet count to user profile
- Improved avatar loading
- Improved the way data is cleared to conserve more space
- Fixed a bug where music skips when
refreshing, etc.
- Many other improvements and bug fixes
Security is a little beefed up here as Twitter had promised when the HTTPS protocol was implemented for the web service. With the
Twitter for Android, all the network requests to open links or anything else are taken through the SSL protocols.
