Facebook 3.4 for iPhone released

Earlier today, Facebook released
an update to its iPhone and iPod touch client making it version 3.4. The
new bits add a map view to Places check-ins, an improved
News Feed, and a
more intuitive Notification dashboard. Version 3.4 also allows users to unfriend stalkers,
former significant others, or anyone else directly from their
iPhone or iPod touch.

With the new facebook 3.4 for iOS devices,you can Use your iPhone to start a
conversation with Facebook Chat,
checkyour friends' latest photos and status updates, look up a phone number, or upload your own mobile photos to Facebook.

Lets see whats new on this release:
- Added Map View for Places
-Added the ability to Check in to Events that you're attending
-Added the ability to unfriend from the phone
- Improved News Feed
- Improved notifications UI

Though its a new release,iPad users will not be happy with the out of focus full screen display and there are still a few features which users would like to see,like the feature that allows you to tag people in status,comments
