Glo introduces micro SIM for ipad,iphones etc

Globacom has introduced the micro-sim which costs N700,a smaller sim card,for the purpose of fitting into devices otherwise too small for a conventional SIM card. With this,subscribers with devices such as the ipad,iphones and other compatible devices can now continue to enjoy the seamless service on the Glo network on their devices. The micro SIM card is less than half the size of the conventional SIM,also has adequate space on its chip for numerous provides applications,increased control and security functions for the benefits of the user.

A statement from Globacom said that the introduction of the micro SIM was a natural progression in the company's quest to constantly add value to its subscribers. "This card is being introduced to take care of the interest of our subscribers who are already moving up to the increasingly diminutive trend in technology through iphones and ipads,"he said.

The card,though smaller,is packed with enhanced capabilities for an unrivalled data usage experience. It guarantees Glo's coverage and fast internet download speed. The new micro SIM card,which is available to both Glo pre-paid and post-paid subscribers at N700 can be bought in any Gloworld shop nationwide.
