The micro SIM card is less than half the size of the conventional SIM,also has adequate space on its chip for numerous provides applications,increased control and security functions for the benefits of the user.
A statement from Globacom said that the introduction of the micro SIM was a natural progression in the company's quest to constantly add value to its subscribers. "This card is being introduced to take care of the interest of our subscribers who are already moving up to the increasingly diminutive trend in technology through iphones and ipads,"he said.
The card,though smaller,is packed with enhanced capabilities for an unrivalled data usage experience. It guarantees Glo's coverage and fast internet download speed. The new micro SIM card,which is available to both Glo pre-paid and post-paid subscribers at N700 can be bought in any Gloworld shop nationwide.
