RIM to introduce BBM(Blackberry Messenger) to iOS and Android

As there have been speculation to this for over few months back through fans of other mobile devices that all they wanted on a Blackberry was the BBM and wouldn't mind it introduced to other devices. But now,seems like luck has begin to shine on them and this keeps getting closer to reality as RIM is planning on extending this BBM function to other devices. We suspect that this is just a tricky way of luring more customers into their Blackberry Messenger because not all functionalities available on the Blackberry itself would be available on other devices,though to us,this seems like a very good marketing strategy. The android version is expected to be released this year and iOS sometime later due to Apple's approval requirements.
