Why you should frequently cleanup your Windows Registry

Your PC used to run at a very fast speed when you first bought it(well, thats so obvious) , but you notice that all of a sudden, its speed begins to reduce till the point it starts acting like a Windows 98 PC then you start to ask yourself what could be responsible for that. But before you start thinking of why that is,did you consider that there's one little thing in that system that keeps track of whatever you do on your system,be it installation of software, internet surfing, storage of files etc. That little thing is called the Windows Registry and stores every single data you have entered into your system and to put it in a simpler way,it is the heart of your system. Once it gets too full or gets damaged, your system begins to suffer some abnormalities like a drastically reduced speed. You may be the type that is so cautious of whatever is introduced into the system, but trust me,no matter what you do to be so cautious, your registry gets full at some point in time and merely deleting or uninstalling software do not take it out of the whole system. Some part of it is still present in the registry and in order to clean the registry.

Since the registry cannot be fully cleaned by deleting and uninstalling software, how then do you clean it? There are certain special software designated only for the purpose of cleaning the Windows Registry for you by deleting unnecessary data from it though there are some that are also used for malware and virus scans. These software are called Registry Cleaners and you may have seen a lot of them flying around the Internet but some of them actually contain viruses, spyware and malware that just inflict more damage so in my next post,i'll give you hints on getting the best and free Registry Cleaners.

The main job of the Registry Cleaner is to delete and clean the Registry of unnecessary data thereby optimizing your system's speed back to normal or could even become faster.

In my next posts,i shall give you more information about choosing the right Registry cleaner and how to go about the cleaning process.
